How does the color/size variant system work?

Each product can have multiple variants based on color and size combinations. Every variant gets its own auto-generated SKU (PRODUCT-COLOR-SIZE), optional barcode, individual cost and selling prices (falling back to the product price if not set), and independent stock tracking. Colors include hex codes for visual display, and the system enforces unique color/size combinations per product.

How does the POS terminal work?

The POS has a session-based workflow. Open a session with a device name and opening cash balance. Search products by name/SKU or scan barcodes, add to cart, select a customer (optional for loyalty points), choose payment method (Cash, Card, or Mixed), and process the sale. On completion, invoices are generated, stock is deducted per variant, and loyalty points are calculated. Close the session with a closing balance for variance analysis.

What discount and pricing features are available?

Three discount types: Percentage off, Fixed amount, and Buy-X-Get-Y — each with minimum purchase, maximum discount cap, usage limits, date ranges, and category/product targeting. How does the payroll system calculate salaries?

Payroll is automatically calculated from attendance data. Payroll follows an approval workflow (Draft → Approved → Paid) and is unique per employee per month.
